Bright Arch ABA uses SMS (text messaging) to support communication with patients and caregivers about appointments, scheduling, and practice updates. This policy outlines how we use SMS, the limits of privacy, and your rights.

1. Purpose of SMS Communication
We may send you SMS messages to:
Confirm or remind you of upcoming appointments

Notify you of scheduling changes or office updates

Share limited administrative or care coordination details

These communications are intended to enhance convenience—not replace clinical discussions or secure communications.

2. Platform & Privacy
SMS messages are sent through RingCentral, a HIPAA-compliant communications platform.
However, standard SMS is not end-to-end encrypted, and therefore may not be fully secure. We will never send sensitive health information (e.g., diagnoses, medications, insurance details) via text.
If you need to discuss protected health information (PHI), please call our office directly.

3. Your Consent
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS communications from Bright Arch ABA. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply.
You can opt in during the intake process, online scheduling, or by confirming with our staff.

4. Opting Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message. This will prevent further automated or administrative text messages from us. You may still receive phone calls or emails related to your care.

5. Help and Support
To request assistance or more information about SMS messaging, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at:
